if you watch the vlogs, you’ll know i was obsessed with this air-fryer miso salmon when i began my health journey a few years ago. japanese mayo and white miso paste give this salmon a super satisfying umami flavor. i like to top mine with hot chili flakes and furikake for some extra kick!

Ingredients

  • 1 (½ lb.) salmon filet
  • 2 tbsp. japanese mayo
  • 1 tbsp. white miso
  • 1 tbsp. hot water
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. gochugaru (korean hot chili flakes)
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • sprinkle of furikake

Instructions

  1. in a small bowl, stir together mayo, miso, soy sauce, and seasonings.
  2. using a paper towel, pat salmon dry and spread mayo mixture evenly on top.
  3. place salmon in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes at 350°F.
  4. remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with furikake seasoning. serve with rice and roasted veggies.
