Summary

there are two kinds of people in this world: those who prefer a strong, dark, classic espresso martini, and those who want more of a creamy, latte-inspired cocktail… which one are you? while Cal likes to embrace the bold bitterness of a traditional espresso martini, i want mine to be super sweet and creamy, almost like a milkshake. my version gets its creaminess from Bailey’s red velvet irish cream liqueur, complete with a few drops of red food coloring for that true red velvet experience. if you’re in the mood for something more traditional, Cal’s classic martini still provides a touch of sweetness with homemade simple syrup. to make your own, just combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring until all of the sugar dissolves, then let cool before storing in the refrigerator for up to one month.
