this is a classic treat with a twist! i recently tried chocolate-covered strawberries dipped in oreos, which inspired me to experiment with other types of cookies and candy. dip juicy berries into whatever candies you’d like- the possibilities are endless!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. strawberries
  • 12 oz. milk chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. dark chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
  • 6 oreo cookies
  • candy of choice
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. wash strawberries and pat dry.
  2. using a double-boiler or microwave, melt milk and dark chocolate separately, adding 2 tbsp. coconut oil to each.
  3. dip each strawberry into melted chocolate of choice and refrigerate 5 minutes to set.
  4. before chocolate is completely set, roll strawberries in candy, crushed oreos, sprinkles, or any other toppings you may like!
  5. lay berries on parchment paper and enjoy immediately, or allow chocolate to fully set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
