classic rice krispies are my absolute favorite, and this recipe is a fun take on a traditional treat! i personally love frosted flakes, lucky charms, and cap’n crunch, but feel free to substitute your fave cereal.
Ingredients
6 cups of cereal of choice
6 tbsp. of butter
1 bag of marshmallows
toppings of your choosing: melted chocolate, sprinkles, crushed oreos, candy
Instructions
in a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
add marshmallows and heat until melted, stirring continuously. mix until butter and marshmallows become homogenous.
stir in cereal of choice and mix until fully coated. pour into a thoroughly greased 9 x 13 pan.
cool for 20-30 minutes, until firm, then slice into squares. top with drizzled chocolate, sprinkles, candy, or whatever else your heart desires!
